Suicide prevention is everyone’s business. It is Society of Samaritan’s (SOS) ambition to shift from a culture of silence, to one of openness and empathy, though empowering the wider community to be more vigilant and encourage them to keep a look out for anyone in distress.
SCDF has a Community Emergency Preparedness Programme (CEPP) which includes training on basic firefighting and proper use of fire extinguishers. Other than that, it also covers other lifesaving topics such as CPF-AED procedures.
We are also organising marriage preparation workshops for newly-weds or soon-to-be married couples. During the workshop, you will co-create strategies with the facilitators on fostering resilient relationships and marriages.
If you are interested to join any of the programmes, please contact us for more information.
