we’re looking for a Nursing Aide

Society of Sheng Hong Welfare Services (SSHWS) is extending its services to frail and/demented seniors who require day care and rehabilitation treatment in our Sheng Hong Active Ageing Hub @ Sennett, a newly established senior care centre in the heart of Sennett estate (Potong Pasir/MacPherson area).

Key Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for caring of clients with various medical conditions
  • Perform direct care duties including basic nursing care, attend to clients’ hygiene & grooming, monitor vital signs and clients’ safety
  • Perform nursing procedures under supervision
  • Assist with feeding, bathing, toileting and changing diapers for clients
  • Conduct individual and group activities
  • Support administrative duties as and when required

Qualification & Requirements

  • Minimum qualification as a Nurse or Nursing Aide
  • Minimum 1 year of experience taking care of clients with dementia or stroke
  • Caring, pleasant and responsible
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Physically fit

we’re looking for a Driver Care Support

Key Job Descriptions:

  • Assist in arranging transportation and route planning
  • Ensure driving duties are carried out safely
  • Wash and clean vehicle regularly
  • Keep track of vehicle maintenance and mileage records
  • Assist in care support for clients with various medical conditions
  • Assist in co-ordinating repair works of facilities and housekeeping in the Centre
  • Assist in group and individual activities

Qualification & Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ of experience as a driver with Class 3 licence
  • Patient and caring for seniors with dementia or stroke
  • English literacy in both speaking and writing
  • Independent and able to work as a team
  • Physically fit
  • Qualified and able to perform CPR with AED preferred

we’re looking for a Therapy Aides

Key Job Descriptions:

  • Support the Therapists in providing appropriate therapy treatments (includes lifting, transferring and transporting patients)
  • Housekeep the rehabilitation equipment
  • Assist in the maintenance of clients’ cases and perform any other duties as assigned by the Therapists

Qualification & Requirements:

  • GCE ‘A’, ‘O’ or ‘N’ level
  • HMI Certification is preferred.
  • Cheerful disposition with the heart to serve the elderly
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
