Nursery (3+ years to 4+ years)

The Nursery programme is designed for children from three to four years of age.

Children participate in activities that are designed to develop the skills necessary for a successful year in Nursery. Our programme will provide the children with opportunities to learn number and letter recognition, number concepts, colour and shape recognition, classification and matching of objects, spatial relationships, opposites, sequencing, and handwriting skills.

Learning centres are offered daily where “hands-on” activities are made available in language arts, pre-reading, pre-math, and dramatic play.  Children also get to enjoy participating in arts and crafts, music and movement, cookery, story time, block building, and art & craft. Indoor and outdoor play is also an important part of our programme where the children can participate in activities that develop their fine and gross motor skills.

Through our creative programme, our qualified and experienced staffs will provide the children with opportunities to grow and learn in a supportive environment. By learning through experience, they develop the tools for success in the years ahead.

Chinese Language Arts

For Nursery, the stress is on developing a child’s vocabulary and verbal abilities through games, stories, show and tell, music and dance. Written exercises will also be introduced at this stage. To promote a love for the Chinese language and culture, the teaching of ‘三字经’ has been incorporated as part of the Chinese curriculum.
