we’re looking for a Social Worker (HOPE Mentoring)

 

Key Job Descriptions:

  • Provide mentoring sessions to address the needs of HOPE participants, motivate them to be self-sufficient and independent
  • Manage case referrals
  • Conduct assessment, planning and intervention for cases
  • Conduct group work or engage group facilitators to conduct Support Group Sessions
  • Organise events/activities for HOPE families and provide info for them to access community services
  • Document and evaluate case outcomes for MSF

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counselling or
  • Post Grad Dip in Social Work or Counselling with min 2 years of relevant experience in working with low-income families
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Positive disposition with the heart to serve the needy

we’re looking for a Lead Social Worker

Key Job Descriptions:

  • Supervise the delivery of services carried out by social workers and ensure high standard of practice.
  • Lead and conduct case assessment and risk assessment independently for complex cases.
  • Initiate, develop and mobilize resources for community development programmes.
  • Lead high-risk case conferences and develop group work.
  • Chart the professional development of a team of social workers.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Graduate from Social Work or other relevant discipline that qualifies for accreditation with the Social Work Accreditation Board.
  • Minimal 10 years of experience in social service sector, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Technically competent in managing casework, group work and community work, with expertise in at least one domain of social work intervention.
  • Excellent leadership including coaching and mentoring skills with proven track record of managing teams and projects.
