we’re looking for an Operation Manager

Operation Manager (Finance & Admin)

The Operation Manager (Finance & Admin) plays an important role to ensure proper financial controls, overall financial compliance to law and regulations, and to provide timely and correct information to assist the management team in governance and operational decision making.

Key Job Descriptions:

  • To assist the management in preparation, forecast and monitoring of annual budgets for all centres
  • To oversee the monthly financial accounts preparation for all centres
  • To provide monthly financial accounts for all funds & centres under SSHWS
  • To coordinate with internal & external auditors, and to oversee all necessary preparation for periodic & annual auditing of all accounts under SSHWS
  • To monitor income collection, including donation & grant, from various sources and to ensure funds are properly accounted for
  • To ensure overall financial compliance and maintenance of accounting records
  • To establish controls for financial & administrative processes
  • To oversee all statutory reporting
  • To supervise Admin Assistants in supporting accounting and administrative duties
  • To provide secretariat support to the Management team

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualifications in Finance, such as ACCA, CIMA, ISCA
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Excellent knowledge in accounting software, such as MYOB
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and motive team efforts
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) & interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous, well-organised, resourceful, strategic thinker & self-motivated
  • Able to work independently under tight deadlines
  • Able to speak & write Chinese
  • Positive working attitude
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred

we’re looking for a Senior Social Worker

Key Job Descriptions:

  • Conduct needs and risk assessment for complex cases.
  • Establish engaged relationships with key stakeholders to work across disciplines.
  • Design and manage end-to-end development and delivery of programs.
  • Supervise and guide subordinate social workers in their casework, group and community projects.
  • Share new practice knowledge with subordinate social workers.
  • Prepare social reports and ensure documentations are in place.

Qualification & Requirements:

  • Technically competent in managing casework, group work and community work, with expertise in at least one domain of social work intervention.
  • Confident in conducting clinical supervision, providing guidance to subordinate social workers in the aspects of administrative, clinical and personal/professional growth
  • Concrete experience in the role of middle management, in terms of team building, diffusing and synthesizing information, mediating between strategy and day-to-day activities, generating innovative ideas, etc.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience on family service/ practice research/therapeutic group will be an advantage
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills with proven track record of managing teams and projects.
  • Willing to roll up his/her sleeves and work alongside with his/her teammates
  • Organized and meticulous
  • Clear-minded and being able to articulate the reasoning behind his/her decisions
  • Graduate from Social Work or other relevant disciplines that qualify for accreditation with the Social Work Accreditation Board.
  • Minimal 6 years of experience in the social service sector, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
