Mission

Hougang Sheng Hong Family Service Centre (HSHFSC) is the first centre set up by Society of Sheng Hong Welfare Services (SSHWS) in January 2000. Its mission is to serve as a neighbourhood focal point that anyone can turn to for any matters relating to family.  Our aim is to promote, enhance and maintain the well being of individuals & families.  We believe that well-adjusted individuals build strong family & community. On the other hand, stable family nurtures the healthy growth of individuals & fosters harmonious community.

Our Objectives

Hougang Sheng Hong Family Service Centre provides a variety of programmes and services for the following objectives:

• To provide relief & assistance to the distressed and the needy; 
• To promote personal growth & inner healing for individuals who experienced distress or trauma at different life stages;
• To facilitate reconciliation for broken relationship and family disputes, and to strengthen family relationship;
• To foster a caring and harmonious community.
