we’re looking for a Child Care Teacher

Roles & Responsibilities

Key responsibility areas 

  • You have minimum EY1/EY2/L2/L1 certification.
  • You are not looking to just implement early childhood programs but have the chance to plan and develop them.
  • You are looking for an empathetic & nurturing environment to instil children with skills, values and a love for learning.
  • You are excited to use music, stories & hands on activities to facilitate children’s learning and understand the importance of a safe and hygienic learning environment for the centre.
  • You believe in teamwork & thrive in a conducive environment with centre teachers.
  • You love children and enjoy seeing them develop from PG to K2 class.

  • Perform community development and outreach work
  • Professional Development & Education
  • Programme Development & Implementation
  • Uplift professional practice in social work

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work or other relevant Allied Health discipline preferably accredited with Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW).
  • Min 3-5 years of experience in social service sector.
  • Knowledge of current social, economic, and governmental conditions and issues.
  • Knowledge of human behaviour and able to work effectively with individuals and groups.
  • Familiar with at least one theoretical framework of social work intervention.
  • Good written, listening and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationship with staff, other agencies and the community.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintains composure, multi-task, establish priorities, meet deadlines and follow through on assignments.
