Our Mission

Established in February 2001, Hougang Sheng Hong Family Service Centre (HSHFSC) was the first centre set up by the Society of Sheng Hong Welfare Services (SSHWS). Our mission is to be a trusted neighbourhood focal point that individuals and families can turn to for support on family-related matters.

We strive to promote, enhance, and maintain the well-being of individuals and families. We believe that well-adjusted individuals help build strong families and communities—just as stable families nurture personal growth and foster a caring, harmonious society.

Our Objectives

HSHFSC offers a range of programmes and services that seek to:

• Provide relief and assistance to individuals and families in need

• Support personal growth and emotional healing for those facing distress or trauma at various stages of life

• Help mend broken relationships and strengthen family ties

• Cultivate a compassionate and cohesive community
